A politician is claiming the number of voters in his constituency has dropped by 25 per cent since the last election five years ago.
David Cretney, who is defending his Douglas South seat in November, says there are twelve hundred fewer people on the new list of voters issued to candidates.
He believes there are hundreds of people who think they are registered to vote but have not been transferred to the updated list. He's calling for an investigation by the electoral registration unit.
