Alliance a 'new concept in local politics'

A group of people hoping to be elected to the Ramsey Commissioners think their shared interests and values will be of benefit to the town.
The six like-minded candidates have formed an “Alliance” - an idea they say is a new concept in local politics.
They believe the improvements needed in Ramsey aren’t happening quickly enough and reckon their approach will speed things up.
The members are John Gaggs, David Sugden, Sylvia Beattie, Bill Quigley, Leonard Singer and Brian Beattie.
Mr Beattie says the Alliance believes state of the main shopping area is one of the issues that needs addressing.
The Local Authority Elections take place on 24th April.
